I found this unit very quiet hot water is plenty And the heat time will tell. As we enter the heating season the test did supply hot water to the baseboards the longer duration and propane use will be the judge. I have all the confidence it will.

I have dealt with Dunkirk for a few years now and overall I believe they have quality products.

The installation Manual for the DCC-150 is not laid out very well and can be hard to follow/understand at times.

Highly efficient. Very affordable! By all appearances, great quality!

Coaxial vent piping became a problem when we needed to offset based on customer expectations. We needed 3- 90’s, and supplier only stocked 2. Then, the piping we receiving had some dents and dings. The inner support has broken in shipping, and the ends were crushed a little. We were able to straighten out with channel locks, but this should not be required.

Customer service was excellent, boiler is very efficient and I love the way I can set the boiler to different btu parameters. Installation instructions are vague in regards to initial setup. If the zones are small, it knocks the boiler out on high temp.

The price was great for all the features and quality.

I think it is a good product. The heat manifold and the domestic water manifold need to be offset.

I liked the idea of being a New York State product from Utica. And some contractors I know have it their favorite.

GOOD PRODUCT

I have had a lot of problems with it, first we converted it to LP and had problems with no air adjustment, we called you you said tape or make air adjustment covers, they know they have a problem and should come with air adjustments, The unit has gone into lock out numerous times, i caught it today, the gas valve isnt shutting down, and leaving the pilot on and as long as the pilot is on it wont fire.

I called today, and they are checking on it for me.

Easy Installation process.

Yes I recommend, because of the quality and efficiency of the boiler. I had a Dunkirk boiler installed in 1993, and it performed well, and we experienced NO service calls. That’s 27 years of trouble-free operation. This new boiler is even better because it runs much more quietly than the previous one. In the first one, we could hear the water actually gurgling as it was coming up to temperature. There is none of that in this new model.

We had to have a board and sensor replaced because the boiler was not working. Fond out the pump was installed upside down.

I was actually the technician who installed the unit. Having worked on boilers for more than 30 years I was very pleased with the ease of install for this unit. I also liked the placement of the domestic coil on the side of the unit that keeps the water lines out of the way of heating loop. I will definitely recommend Dunkirk to future clients. Individuals who unit was installed for were extremely happy with it.

Unit was in stock, knowledgeable sales & installation staff. Product replaced a Peerless boiler that was problematic. Unit was packaged nicely, was easy to maneuver into place and simple to install and run off.

Yes. With regular maintenance, Dunkirk cast iron boilers can function reliably for a long time. This Dunkirk cast iron boiler replaced a Republic/Dunkirk cast iron boiler that was installed in 1975, and it required minimal maintenance during that time.

Had a 25 yr old boiler I never had an issue with until my hard water built up. Very satisfied with length of problem free heat.

This is my 2nd boiler and I have lived in my home for 58 years. It is made to last!!!

We just purchased our new home, and having some water issues, we learned our dunkirk boiler is 22 years old!!!. Its still working strong but was suggested that maybe we should look at updating because of the age and we have hard water and the boiler water inlet was never connected through a soft water line, so years of hard water going through the boiler.

I plan on purchasing another dunkirk boiler. I have heard from other after seeing this in our house they are good boilers and learning its 22 years old says alot!

We’ve been enjoying the new boiler in our 1885 home in upstate NY for about one month now and it is doing a great job.

The design of the Dunkirk boiler also made it an easy (and less costly) installation with both my contractor and I appreciated. They were able to make a reasonable 1:1 swap for connections from the old Weil McLain boiler that they were replacing.
